The Beauty of His and Hers

His and Hers.

I’ve been amazed, that as we travel around a lot, it is incredibly fun to be in our own space.

I was looking around the other day and thought, “It is just SO nice to have our stuff out… in one place.”

And, as I looked around, I saw evidence of the people who live here… obviously Jeremy and I with three crafting, playing, busy girls.

But more specifically, evidence of a marriage… two people living together.

I saw the beauty of his and hers.

His stuff and my stuff.

Our pillows together.

Our running shoes out from the last 4 miler…

Our toothbrushes, our towels… his razor bag by my make up brushes.

 

Just simple ordinary things but yet so beautiful.

A beautiful display of lives blended.

His and hers.

The sight of them makes me thankful.

The display of it all around me reminding me of how great it is to be married, to share my life with this special someone.

A reminder that I am thankful for every day of our lives.

And in this reminder, a challenge.

A challenge to look around you and see the beauty of his and hers.

To accept the blend of his things and your things and remember that it represents two precious lives being lived together.
