Best Christian Books for Women

I am always on the lookout for the best Christian books for women.

Whether it’s finding amazing new authors to follow {you can see that list here} or finding the best family devotionals {you can see that list here} or even reviewing some of my favorite books on amazon, I’m always looking for books.

The best Christian books for women that will challenge, inspire, teach, disciple and lead me in my walk with Jesus.

I have quite a large pile with me here in West Africa that I’m going to be digging into over the next few years.

I have quite a few that are still impacting my heart even now, long after the last word was read.

Highlights, notes, quotes, and ponderings from books that cause me to think, grow and move forward.

I’ve been compiling a list of these best Christian books for women to share with you.

Some of them I’ve read. Some of them are in my pile to read.

Some will be authors you know. Some will not.

{and yes, this post does contain affiliate links for Amazon. Your shopping through these links is a great help to us!}

But I hope you dig into one or two of them and maybe even save the link so you can come back for a few more.

Best Christian Books for Women

1} Lisa Bevere – with titles like Girls with Swords, Lioness Arising and Adamant… how can you go wrong?

2} Alicia Britt Chole – I’ve read her books and listened to her speak. You’ll be challenged and blessed. I’m starting The Sacred Slow soon and I can’t wait.

3} Life in His Hands Devotional by Jill Holler – I read a small portion of this daily and truly love the simple yet deep way she weaves scripture with real life.

4} Champions in the Wilderness by Bob Santos. Every single devotion is worth reading. He has a new one called From Glory to Glory that is on my list to read as well.

5} Desperate by Sarah Mae. Read anything of hers… her blog. her instragam. You’ll love it. All while waiting for her newest book, The Complicated Heart.

6} Dr. Tammy Smith – You can order her books right from her website. They are deep. And challenging. And real. She does not beat around the bush and her teaching is spot on. I’ve heard her speak at a conference and left wishing I had days to listen to her teach. Soulhearted is on my must-read-soon list.

7} Those Who Wait by Tanya Marlow – a hope builder in seasons of waiting

8} Growing Down by Sarah Wetzel – I’ve also heard her speak at a conference. She is soft spoken, real and gives a message of truth for women. Her testimony is powerful and worth reading.

9} From Good to Grace by Christine Hoover – This book was life changing for me and how I saw my faith, my heart and my work. I’ve read a few of her other books as well and I always put them down thinking about them throughout the day. If you are a pastor’s wife or in ministry, you’ll enjoy her perspective.

10} Angie Smith – grab any or ALL of her books. What Women Fear was particularly life changing for me. Chasing God you can read twice.

11} Beth Moore – a list of best Christian books for women would not be complete without her name. Read them, teach them, highlight them, read them again… these books and Bible studies are deep, inspiring, teaching and impacting.

12} Cultivate Renewal – there is a book and a Write the Word journal. Get both.

13} Living Out Titus 2 by Woman to Woman Ministries – I have a chapter in that one!

14} ESV Journaling Bible – I have this one and love it.

15} Consider the Birds – NOT my normal reading but it is one that captured my imagination and helped me see God in new ways.
