She asked Grandma for blue ice cream.
So, of course, Grandma had to get blue ice cream.
And we needed something amazingly fun to put the ice cream in…
And, my mom just so happens to make these wonderful chocolate bowls that would be perfect for Annalise’s blue ice cream.
Annalise was one happy little girl!
How did we make these delicious, 100% chocolate bowls?
You can pin it and make it one day for a party and WOW all your guests!
Chocolate Bowls
You will need:
Balloons
Cooking spray
Cookie sheets
Melting/Candy/Baking Chocolate (the bars of baking chocolate work best!)
Blow up the balloons to the size that you would like your bowls to be.
Melt the chocolate according to package directions.
Coat the balloons with cooking spray before you dip them in the melted chocolate.
Place the dipped balloons on a sprayed cooking sheet.
As the chocolate hardens, place the chocolate coated balloons in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
Put a small hole in the top of the balloon and slowly release the air.
You will have a perfect chocolate bowl!

This is soo cool! I will definitely be trying this soon!
Oh, wow that looks so delish!!! Chocolate lovers unite. This is a really cute bowl idea. Thanks.
I’ve never done a chocolate bowl (you better bet I will be TODAY as I have lefrover baking chocolate from Christmas) but I did make a chocolate “cupcake” wrapper for Molly’s big birthday cupcake.
