Did you ever imagine this path?
There are days that I look around and wonder how I got where I am, how I found this path of life.
Not because where I am is bad or because I don’t like the path I’m on…
More because I never dreamed I would be here… living this crazy traveling life.
I never saw myself being who and what I am today.
I don’t think I could have guessed the missionary part or the homeschooling mom part or the travel part or the homeless part.
I’m loving where I am… enjoying this path. In fact, I’m quite ecstatic about it all.
But I do look around and wonder…
How God could have had these dreams for me, these plans for my life.
So come on, let Me dream, let Me dream for you
I am strong when you’re weak and I’ll carry you
So let go of your plan, be caught by My hand
I’ll show you what I can do
When I dream for you
I have a dream for you
My child, if you only knew
All the plans that I have for you
Just trust me, I will follow through
You can follow Me
Casting Crowns “Dream for You
How he dreamed bigger, higher, greater for me than I had ever imagined for myself.
This path is hard. It is busy. It is challenging, It is full of fun and struggles and adventures and journeys.
“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11 NIV
There are moments of being completely real and wondering, “How can I keep walking this crazy path?”
and then moments of feeling humbled and blessed to have been called to live this incredible path of missions.
But it is my path. My God-designed path of life.
Did you ever wonder how you arrived where you are today?
How God could have planned things you never expected, never dreamed, never thought would or could happen to you?
How God orchestrated things to happen just the way they did for you to be on the path you are on today?
Looking back… remembering… wondering… thanking Him for His grace, His mercy and His perfect dreams for my life.
I always knew I would be a missionary. That’s the only part I knew. Everything else has been a surprise!
Isn’t it amazing how God plans out our lives! Love that!!
